Although SSO has grown from under 50 players to nearly 300 in just 4 years, we think the big growth is yet to come. There must be thousands of lax nuts who would come to Sammamish to spend a day playing 3v3 lacrosse if they knew how much fun it is. We have the fields to expand SSO in a big way in Sammamish and Issaquah, and we are willing to use them!

Boys & Girls Schedules Posted

These are pool schedules only... Boys are right here, and also under "Essential Links" in the right margin. Ditto for girls.

The playoffs are determined by your success in pool play. Playoffs run throughout the afternoon.

ESSENTIAL Last minute information for Sammamish Shoot-Out

(This email just went out to all participant emails as registered. Check the links on the right side for links to the files that were attached.)

To All Sammamish Shoot-out Parents and Players --

1. Every player **MUST** have a waiver/release form signed by a parent. The form is attached. It is also available through the blog at http://blog.sammamishshootout.org

2. All players must give us their physical/street address. This is a new requirement for insurance purposes. We cannot assure that you are covered by the tournament insurance policy unless you provide this information. There is a team address form attached. You may
(a) Fill it out on your computer and email it back in a reply email (preferred)
(b) Print it out, write in addresses, and turn it in Saturday morning (OK)
(c) Fill it out at the tournament check-in (Not a great idea, as it will slow down check-in)

3. The overall schedule is posted on the blog. NOTE IMPORTANT CHANGES TO GIRLS SCHEDULES: High School now starts much earlier -- first games are now 10:30am. Junior and Lightning girls start at 11:30am. Check the blog later today for detailed team-by-team schedules.

4. Please familiarize yourself with the rules (yes, look on the blog for those, too). There are some important differences between Chumash and standard field lacrosse rules.

5. It's going to be hot tomorrow! We will have some concessions on site with cold drinks, but we also recommend that you bring lots of water, sun screen, and shade. For food, you can bring your own, buy from our concessions, or walk across the street to the shopping center where there are several restaurants and a large grocery store.

6. The Stealth is Coming!
The new Washington Stealth professional indoor lacrosse team will have a tent at our tournament. Don't miss it!
